Red rose of mine
We’ve made it this time
We’ve broken the rules
Stepped off the line

Forgotten, don’t worry
Our troubles have passed
The one thing I’m sure of
This love’s here to last


It pains me to pine but
I struggle to find
A piece of your jigsaw
That doesn’t fit mine

Perfection sounds foolish
But I see no flaw
New feelings of old
You’re what I live for

You owe me the breath
That was stolen from me
The day that we met
When I used to be free

Pray that I never
Lose the embrace
Of your soul, your passion
Your beauty, your grace

Imprisoned in love
It aches everyday
But given the chance
I’d have it no other way
